Ways to keep cheerful
Following on from last week, we learned that AP is using her skills to take care of 14 foster pets from school. They include rats, a lizard, hamsters and guinea pigs. She sent us a photo of one. She also sent in a photo of some practice she's been doing with face paints. (which, incidentally, is part of Festival Goer Interest Badge)
You all seem to be finding ways to help yourselves and others stay cheerful too. Being creative, and enjoying the fresh air are great ideas.
Have you considered combining the 2 by creating some land art? You may have seen sculptures out in the countryside or large gardens which use some of the local materials to create art, or introduce a sculpture to enhance a view, for example a frame hanging in a tree, or a giant chair at a viewpoint, animals or fairy homes carved from tree stumps (see in Ashton Park) or something to reflect a lake. You can't take off for any of these places now, but maybe you can create something in your own garden? If your front garden can be seen by passers by, perhaps you could create something that would make passers by smile?
Do send photos of whatever you create. (it will earn UMA points too).
