Confectionery galore
Last week the Rangers joined the Guides to take part in a competition. The Guides were challenged to create something to represent our local area in confectionery. 2 of the Rangers took up the challenge. Here's a Hilbre Island cake by IG, and St Michael's Church made from biscuits and marshmallows by HS. If you'd like to see the Guides designs, click here. |
Apart from all the baking, I'm delighted to say that HG has earned the first badge from the new programme in our unit. She has completed First Aid level 5. Well done H!
Here's hoping its the first of many more for our unit.

Over the past few weeks at our Zoom Meetings we have held a quiz, and tried to see who could stack 6 cups fastest. It turns out that the person with the paper cups has an advantage over someone with plastic cups, or glasses! (who would have guessed?)
Now that we are allowed to meet in a small group face to face, we are planning to meet at the beach and cooperate on some landscape art whilst keeping socially distanced. That should be a good but achievable challenge.
